AI Basic Act (Framework Act on the Development of AI and Establishment of Trust)

Creates South Korea's comprehensive AI framework, with a national AI strategy committee and basic plan, industry support, and obligations for high-impact and generative AI such as user notice, labeling, risk management and local representatives for foreign firms, backed by fines of up to 30 million won.
